Los Angeles County Map with COVID-19 Outbreak Locations
This unofficial map represents COVID-19 outbreak locations in Los Angeles County, California as reported by the LA County Department of Public Health on 5/28/2021 with the data through 5/27/2021 at 6pm. (According to LA County's Public Health, these Coronavirus data are dynamic and may not reflect real-time investigation counts for these locations.)
As I constantly check the Los Angeles County Daily COVID-19 data, it is always hard for me to visualize the locations with COVID-19 cases on the Los Angeles County map because there are hundreds of data and all of them is in the table format. So it’s really hard for me to plan my trip safely whether the destination or nearby area I’m going to has COVID-19 cases or not. Thus, I create this Locations with COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County, CA map to help presenting where the COVID-19 cases are in Los Angeles County so anyone can have an information beforehand easily and use extreme caution when going to those places or avoid if possible.
LA County Department of Public Heath (LACDPH) is doing a very good job at listing locations with COVID-19 cases on its dashboard. So there are four types of locations reported by LACDPH, but only three of them are included on this map:
Workplaces and food/retail stores having three or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases (showing on the map as a red caution icon by default)
Educational locations having three or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases (showing on the map as a red caution icon by default)
Residential congregate and acute care with an active COVID-19 outbreak including at least one laboratory-confirmed residents (showing on the map as a yellow biohazard icon, but it is hidden by default)
Homeless housing, shelters, encampments (excluding on this map since it’s very hard to pinpoint exact locations based on available data)

Recommended Face Masks
Face masks can help reducing the spread and infection of Coronavirus. If you’re looking for comfortable face mask that can still prevent the spread of infection of the COVID-19 virus (even not 100%), my recommendation are the three face masks below:
